Dr. Bill Releford

Dr. Releford is founder and CEO of The Releford Foot and Ankle Institute in Inglewood, California. The Releford Institute serves to effectively decrease the diabetes-related amputation rate in Los Angeles.

Dr. Bill Releford is recognized both domestically and internationally as a leader in the field of amputation prevention and wound care. A graduate of the Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, he began his practice in 1990 when he established the Diabetic Foot Institute, a facility dedicated to reducing the unacceptably high number of diabetes-related amputations in high-risk populations.
